Heyso I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I have sims 4 for the PS4. I make sure to type in "testingcheats true" every single time before I try the "cas.fulleditmode " but it doesnt work. I will type that out but it doesn't show up like testing cheats does. And I try still to shift on my character (o then x held down at the same time) but it doesnt show up with Cas mode options. Is there any way anyone can help me? Would be much appreciated!
Hi there, @jacynta7715. I have a Ps4 and I've been able to use cas.fulleditmode. I always type in "testingcheats true" first as well. Cas.fulleditmode doesn't show up like testing cheats for me either, but it does work. I've found that timing really matters when pressing O and X, so sometimes it takes a few tries before the options will show up. Try tapping them together on your sim instead of holding them. I hope you get this to work
Hmm, well that's a little strange. There should be an option that says "Edit in CAS" or something similar. I wish I could help you more, but I'm not sure what else you could try. If you have some options showing up, there should be one to "Reset sim". You could do that with the sim you want to edit and then try again. If you still can't get the option to show up, I would make sure you have the updates for both your system and the game installed. Or you could even enable cheats on a separate save file and see if you can get it to work there. Just keep in mind you won't be able to earn trophies once you enable them, even if you disable them later.
cas.fulleditmode does not add an option to CTRL-Click on any Sim so if you have such an option it must be added by a Mod you have installed. If you instead are talking about SHIFT-Click that is added by having testingcheats on. cas.fulleditmode off does turn this cheat off. Notice that you must have an allcheats mod installed to use this cheat as it was among those removed in 2018.
Hello @Beluaz ! I'd like to help but I don't quite understand the issue. Entering the cas.fulleditmode cheat into the cheat console simply allows you to change everything about a sim (traits, age, relationships, etc.) not just hair and clothing. If you mean that you still see the "modify in CAS" option when you shift+click on a sim, that option will appear in the menu as long as you have testingcheats on enabled. The modify option is just part of the shift+click cheats menu options.
The Sims 4 is a life simulation game where players are given the opportunity to create virtual characters and build their dream world. Not only does the game let players create Sims but they also have the freedom to customize their personalities and choose their careers. In fact, The Sims 4 is renowned for its extensive character customization options.
CAS is the mode where players can modify the appearance of their Sims, edit their family relationships, change their traits, and do much more. Read the following guide to learn how to enter the Create-a-Sim (CAS) mode in The Sims 4.
Press Ctrl + Shift + C on the keyboard and the cheat box will pop up. Next, players can type "testingcheats true" in the box and apply their desired cheats. On a Mac, press Command+Shift+C and type "testingcheats true" in the box. In order to bring up the cheat box on consoles, hit all four triggers on the controller simultaneously.
Once cheats are activated in The Sims 4, players are free to use the cheat to enter the CAS mode. All that players need to do is type "cas.fulleditmode" and choose the Sim they want to edit while holding the Shift key. Xbox requires players to press the A and B buttons, while PlayStation players will need to press the O and X keys on the controller simultaneously.

Sims 4 is the latest installment of a game franchise that started nearly 20 years ago. Today, it offers features and hidden settings to give users near-total creative control over the stories they want to play. Sims 4 full edit mode gives you the power to edit, build, and create in ways you have never considered before.
Sims 4 full edit mode is a tool many users employ to get the most of their game. You can let your creative gameplay shine by using these cheats for your sim and builds. But before using any of these cheats, you must enable the game to recognize them.
One of the best aspects of Sims 4 is the mods. These are user-generated additions to the game that can increase your creative gameplay. Users have created mods for houses, careers, gender, personality, and more. Not only is there a wide variety of mods to choose from, but the game also makes it straightforward to load those mods.
Both mods and custom content can interfere with your cheats. If you recently added a mod or custom content file to your game and the cheats failed, you should delete that file. If you do not know which file is causing the problem, you may have to delete all of them from your game.
Anyone know if there is a way to re-enter Create a Sim mode to re-sculpt a sim? I know you can edit topical things like hairstyle, but I mean to go back and fully re-vamp a sim. I'm not happy with how one of mine turned out.
In the new patch testingcheats for some reason doesn't work, but I found this (sort of) alternative This doesn't work so nicely for sims you've already happily playing but you can also do the following:
1.Ensure family is out of world and go onto the household management tab.2. Click your family and click the "edit" pencil3. On CAS click "new sim" then "play with genetics"4. Change relation to "sibling" then select "randomise twin"This creates an identical, new, fully editable sim, although hair/facial hair, clothes, aspirations and traits would need to be put back in
If you go to a dresser ( if you don't have one, you'll have to buy one) click it, and then it should pop up some options. One of them is " Plan outfits" click that one and it should bring you to Create a Sim Again!!
I know this works because I edited the Landgraab family. The daddyaged up, I didn't want him to so I used this method to make him anadult again and his wife a young adult since he obviously was wayolder than she.
I also did this on one of my sims who was grossly deformed when heturned a teen. His upper body was maxed out to muscles, his legs alsobut his pelvis and buttock area looked like a kid's.So of course Dr vejai2 had to come to the rescue and now he's perfect symetry!
The Sims 4 CAS mode (also known as Create-a-Sim) is the screen where you'll make a household, choose their Aspirations, or refine their appearance - and using the CAS Full Edit Mode cheat allows you to return to it during gameplay.
Without this cheat, once in the game, you'll lose access to the full suite of tools in CAS, instead limiting you to editing a Sim's outfits only and removing the ability to change features or traits - so it's worth knowing how you can access it again.
If you've done that correctly, a white box will appear in the upper-left of your screen. Now, you'll need to type in 'testingcheats on', which will enable the use of cheats in your game. If successful, a prompt will show up in the box stating 'Cheats are enabled'.

I'm trying to modify/edit a sim by using the cheat cas.fulleditmode, I type in testinghcheats true and then it says "cheats are enabled". Then, i type in cas.fulleditmode but it doesn't do anything and i have tried cas.fulleditmode true and on. It used to work for me before. I had my computer in a different room in my house and after i moved it into the room i am in now, it doesn't work and I don't know why and I have tried to look up why it isn't working. All i am getting is posts from 2014-2015 saying the problem has been solved. I have re downloaded origin, shut my computer off and turned it back on, i don't know what else to try. I know that you don't really support cheats but it would be great if you knew how to solve this .
I know this is a super old post but I was here with the same problem and I fixed it for myself!! Shift + click and click on the debug option. After that, countless opportunities pop up including editing in CAS.
