I have a fairly small MySQL database (a Textpattern install) on a server that I do not have SSH access to (I have FTP access only). I need to regularly download the live database to my local dev server on demand; i.e., I would like to either run a script and/or have a cron job running. What are some good ways of doing this?

Here's what I use. This dumps the database from the live server while uploads it to the local server.mysqldump -hlive_server_addresss -ulive_server_user -plive_server_password --opt --compress live_server_db mysql -ulocal_server_user -plocal_server_password local_server_db

Depending on how often you need to copy down live data and how quickly you need to do it, installing phpMyAdmin on both machines might be an option. You can export and import DBs, but you'd have to do it manually. If it's a small DB (and it sounds like it is), and you don't need live data copied over too often, it might work well for what you need.

However, I came across this page on Boss's website and when I click on the live set, it shows me the list of patches within the live set but just shows a bunch of links to download Tone Studio. When I open Tone Studio on my computer, I see a list of Live Sets but there are only 7, and they different ones than in the link.

Live images are ideal for people who want a clean installation. Use a live image to replace your existing system, install alongside existing operating systems, or simply try KDE neon without affecting their computer.

You can also set up the soundboard and voice changer for PS4 and PS5 and Xbox. New themed sound effects are added every month, so check back in regularly! U have a metavoice!

I like the new update with maya livelink knowing if it's Zup or Yup but there's a bug I encountered that I see other people also seeing
=935

if I link a root bone, and direct control the rootbone, or attribute from maya, it transfers over the values live to unreal5. if I control the attribute or bone from another control. unreal5 only updates if i scrub the maya timeline. the same issue is visible in this youtube video i found for maya live link and unreal 5.

Ideally I'd like to see the skeleton update when i move a control

Is a live image suitable for me? Here are some thingsto consider that will help you decide.

  • Flavors: The live images come in several "flavors"providing a choice of desktop environments (GNOME, KDE, LXDE, Xfce,Cinnamon and MATE). Many users will find these initial packageselections suitable, installing any additional packages they need fromthe network afterwards.
  • Architecture: Only images for the most popular architecture,64-bit PC (amd64), are currently provided.
  • Installer: The live images containthe end-user-friendly Calamares Installer, adistribution-independent installer framework, as alternative to our well knownDebian-Installer.
  • Size: Each image is much smaller than the full set ofDVD images, but larger than the network install media.
  • Languages: The images do not contain a complete set of languagesupport packages. If you need input methods, fonts and supplemental languagepackages for your language, you'll need to install these afterwards.
Official live install images for the stable releaseOffered in different flavours, each differing in size as discussed above, theseimages are suitable for trying a Debian system comprised of a selected default set ofpackages and then install it from the same media.

Notes

  • Ubuntu 19.10 (Eoan Ermine) has dropped the support for i386 architecture. Therefore we do not release i386 Ubuntu-based Clonezilla live for Ubuntu >= 19.10, only amd64 (x86-64) arch is available.
  • Once you have the Clonezilla live iso or zip file, please follow this Live CD/USB doc to put it on the boot media, and follow this Live Docs to use it.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle []).push();About CPU architecture
  • For Ubuntu-based branch, i.e. alternative stable and alternative testing ones, 2 CPU architectures are available:
    1. amd64, for use on PCs with AMD64 or Intel 64 processors. It supports multi-core processor, and multiprocessor.
    2. i686, general purpose for 386 CPU. It supports multi-core processor, and multiprocessor. PAE (Physical Address Extension) is supported.
If you are not sure which one fits your machine, try i686 version first (slowest, but works for almost modern x86 CPUs). However, if you need uEFI secure boot, please use AMD64 version of Clonezilla live.
  • For Debian-based branch, i.e. stable and testing ones, 3 CPU architectures are available:
    1. amd64, for use on PCs with AMD64 or Intel 64 processors. It supports multi-core precessor, and multiprocessor.
    2. i686-pae, optimized for i686 CPU supporting PAE. It supports multi-core processor, and multiprocessor.
    3. i686, general purpose for 686 CPU. It supports one or more processors not supporting PAE.
If you are not sure which one fits your machine, try i686 version first (slowest, but works for almost modern x86 CPUs). However, if you need uEFI secure boot, please use AMD64 version of Clonezilla live.
