The Royal Opera opens its Season with two landmark works on both of our stages. On the Main Stage, Antonio Pappano partners with Barrie Kosky for the first time to conduct a bold new imagining of Wagner's first chapter of the Ring cycle, Das Rheingold - a massive undertaking for any opera house with an outstanding cast including Christopher Maltman as Wotan and Christopher Purves as Alberich.
Chance to Dance, our flagship programme aimed at giving primary school children from areas with limited artistic provision their first opportunity to engage creatively with ballet, expands to include five areas, and the Youth Opera Company, our in-house chorus of 50+ state school children, perform in two main stage productions: Cavalleria rusticana/Pagliacci and Carmen.
Stagione (Italian for "season") is an organizational system for presenting opera, often used by large houses. Typically each production is cast separately and has a brief but intensive run of performances. By contrast, companies that use a repertory system maintain a permanent company and rotate productions over many months or even years. Historically the stagione system has been preferred in Britain, the United States, and most large international operahouses.
THE ROWELL HOME
The Wallace house, an early 1920s Craftsman with a front porch and space for studying but a rough exterior and The Lott House, with open concept living but lacking charm. Ben and Erin give their chosen house a colorful millennial makeover, including a charming book nook and stunning master ensuite.
Kyle Cooke and his fiancée, Amanda Batula, told ET that they're also hopeful of starring in a fifth season of the show. Amanda even has an idea for how to make the show work during the pandemic. "I mean, we're coming up with our own plans on how we can make season five work," she said. "It's like, let's do this Big Brother-style. Let's just throw us all in the house."
R. Franklin stops by the "Murder House" for a brief visit with its current inhabitants, Gladys and Maria. A traumatic event earlier in his life involving mercury in a broken thermometer forever scarred him, and caused a deep hate against nurses. He gets into the house claiming he is injured and in need of help. While aiding him, Maria discovers he is not actually injured, and he kills both of them. Gladys is drowned in the bathtub upstairs, and Maria is stabbed in the back multiple times while tied up, dressed in a nurse's outfit.
Constance and her three children move back into the "Murder House" with Larry. Larry kills Beau under Constance's orders. Tate eventually "breaks", and goes to where Larry works, and lights him on fire. Tate then proceeds to go to his high school and shoots and kills fifteen of his classmates, including the five that visit him on Halloween. Tate is then killed in the house by a SWAT team, following the school shooting.
The gay couple, Chad and Patrick, move into the "Murder House". Their plans don't go as well as they could have, and Patrick begins seeing other men. The couple then try to flip the house, and go their separate ways, but are killed by the Rubberman (Tate) on Halloween. Tate's reasoning behind this is that he had planned on acquiring a baby for Nora, paying her back for what she had done for him as a child. Chad and Patrick had talked of adopting a baby, but when it appeared that they were going to break up and that there would be no baby, Tate killed them both so a new family would move in and have a baby.

I honestly thought this was not a real house, or maybe it was a house they found in a haunted neighborhood in New Orleans! Nope, this is a real house in LA! It is located in the Angeleno Heights neighborhood at 892 W Kensington Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90026.
