meetup.com survey results

All:

Last Sunday we learned there are 142 subscribers to this list
and I launched a two question survey. We had 13 responses (or 9%)
which is better than most surveys. Nevertheless these results may not
be statistically significant :)

1. If you don't attend clojure.mn meetings.. why not?
What would motivate you to attend?

Here are the non-blank, not "I already attend" answers:

- It is confusing to figure out from the newgroup exactly where the
group is meeting, or who is even leading the group, attending a meeting,
or the topic of the meeting.

- When I don't attend it is usually because of familial
constraints (young children).

2. How much is adding clojure.mn to meetup.com worth to you?

a. I'd pay $5 right now : 8 = 61.5%
b. I'd pay $3 right now : 1 = 7.7%
c. I'd pay $2 right now : 0
d. I'd pay $1 right now : 0
e. I'm really not that motivated to have meetup.com : 4 = 30.8%


From which one might conclude that the group is generally
motivated to do meetup.com.

It has been suggested that one of our local Clojure employers
(or perhaps soon-to-be Clojure employers :) may be willing
to cover the $180 cost. Any takers?
