This month's meeting will be focused on those who are still learning Clojure. We'll be talking about concurrency in Clojure. No experience is necessary, but it will be useful to know how functions are created and used.

We recommend you bring a laptop and have Nightcode downloaded (and Java 7 if you need that) before the meeting so you can play along. If you have a different editor (such as LightTable) that has a repl set up that will work fine also.

Feel free to pass this along to those who are curious or interested in learning Clojure--all are welcome!

Cheers,
Brian

When/Where?

(Yes, I know where, but the newbies from ClojureBridge might not).

Could you remind me what's the name of the Japanese place where you guys usually got to for dinner before the event, and what's the time of that? Thanks!

The meeting is at 7pm at SmartThings

NOTE: some of us meet informally at Masu beforehand... Usually between
5:30 - 5:45 (because happy hour ends at 6pm): http://masusushiandrobata.com/

If you are interested in getting a jump start there is some information
about getting your environment setup here:
https://github.com/ClojureBridge/curriculum/blob/master/outline/setup.md

And here's our ClojureBridge curicculum (for Track 1):

See you Wednesday!

Thanks everyone, I forgot to mention that this time.

If anyone wants a map to the SmartThings office there's a link on http://clojure.mn (here's a direct link to the map: http://bit.ly/1A9t7Qb).
