Hello,

A few hours after the launch of Counterclockwise 0.21.0, I've had enough work done to be able to release an interesting upgrade as 0.22.0.

It builds on the foundations introduced by 0.21.0, and adds a more polished integration of Leiningen:

- New Command for launching a nREPL headless server via Leiningen ( Alt+L H )
- Patched version of Leiningen 2.3.4 showing nREPL URLs when started with lein repl :headless
- When the nREPL URL is output to the Console view, a corresponding REPL View is automatically opened

Plus some additional polishing concerning Leiningen in the documentation.

Hi...I am unable to upgrade the Eclispe plugin for this new release. Eclipse cannot find a "required" object. Note that I had been using the release numbered just prior to this release.

Thanks.

Weird,

Maybe a problem with the server ...

so far, I have been able myself to upgrade from the site, and can see 23 upgrades of ccw.core ....

... please try a little bit later and report back again if you will?

Does this release use the internal lein to launch REPLs and projects now ?

No, but you can use Alt + L H to start a [H]eadless leiningen REPL, with automatic opening of the corresponding REPL View, which is close to what you'd expect ( actually, I'm quite interested in knowing what other expectations one might have ... maybe this is just the missing piece ?)

I am having a similar problem.  When I try to upgrade, I get the following error:
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: Counterclockwise (Clojure plugin for Eclipse) 0.22.0 (ccw.feature.feature.group 0.22.0)
Missing requirement: Counterclockwise Fragment for Eclipse 4 0.22.0 (ccw.core.e4 0.22.0) requires 'bundle org.eclipse.e4.core.contexts 1.3.1' but it could not be found
  Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: Counterclockwise (Clojure plugin for Eclipse) 0.22.0 (ccw.feature.feature.group 0.22.0)
    To: ccw.core.e4 [0.22.0]

Ick !

I bet you're not with Eclipse Kepler but Eclipse Indigo.

I thought the fragment embedding Eclipse 4 (Kepler) related stuff would just not load, without causing trouble, and that Eclipse Indigo would then upgrade CCW, just without some peripheral stuff.

Sorry for that, seems like my tests haven't been complete enough.

I'll search a solution, in the meantime, you're stuck with your current version of Counterclockwise (or you need to switch to Eclipse Kepler).

I will make this my top priority, Eclipse Indigo is not deprecated yet for Counterclockwise, that's an error on my side.

Yes, I'm on Indigo.  I've downloaded the non-plugin version of Counterclockwise to play around with the new features.  So far so good; I might be able to ditch Indigo.

OK. If you're happy enough with the way Kepler looks like, I suggest you download an official Kepler instead of sticking with CCW/Standalone.

I have noticed a problem when I try to upgrade the CCW plugin via Software Update Site with CCW/Standalone, meaning that you would have to download new versions of CCW/Standalone to get new versions of the plugin.

That's not nice, and another point I should address quickly.

I have fixed the compatibility issues with Indigo in version 0.23.0-SNAPSHOT.
Will release it soon to get this problem out of the way.
