Sorry for letting the spam persist, everyone. I've removed the spammer's posts and banned him for being aggressively spammy and unresponsive. Paul and Jason have been made admins for the group, and I'm sure they'll do a much better job than I did of keeping things in line in the future. :-)

That's pretty much what I told him in email... though there's been no response, so I have no idea if he's seen it or cares.

Matt Yoho is the admin for the group, but he's on the road today. He said he'll get to it tomorrow, so hopefully we won't have to deal with many more emails in the meantime.

+1. The job should have something to do with Clojure (and for this list, ideally should be close to DC, but maybe we shouldn't be that picky in case there are some people looking that wouldn't mind moving), otherwise ban the spammer.

No worries - it's not like it's hard to delete them if they actually
bug me, which they don't too much. And one or two, that actually have
something to do with Clojure, wouldn't be bothersome.

Thanks for taking care of it!

We need to contact the original admin of the group to start blocking people. We took over the meetup group but didn't become admins of the google group. I've been on vacation without a computer this week so I haven't been able to do it. I promise to take care of it by this weekend when I get back.

In Matt's defense, he was on the road when these messages started appearing, so it wasn't easy for him to get onto it quickly.

Thanks for getting it done Matt. We appreciate it.
