Note that the #visual-tools meeting on Sunday has been updated with a slightly longer agenda.
Event: https://clojureverse.org/t/visual-tools-meeting-34-clojure-in-wasm-docker-nrepl-el/As often happens with the visual-tools group, it is an opportunity to have a chat between a few people who are working on slightly related things. We are expecting a great discussion with Roman Liutikov, Shagun Agrawal, Andrey Subbotin, Jarkko Saltiola, Alex Coyle, and others. We have had some fruitful discussions preparing for this meeting. There are now some promising directions for our hopes for beginner-friendly UIs and resources. All of the topics of this meeting are somehow related to that, and we'll probably see more fruits later this year.

We had a great meeting last Sunday. Roman Liutikov, Shagun Agrawal, Andrey Subbotin, and Alex Coyle all gave short presentations that were rather technical but also insightful. A few more friends joined the discussion.

The meeting was a mix of a few technical topics: WASM, GraalVM, nREPL, Docker, Websockets, Kindly, Clay, Reagent, and more, as well as some new UIs on top of them, and promising directions for future exploration. Many thanks to everybody for being able to discuss these early-stage topics at a public meeting.

I hope to share a more detailed summary later on, but since there is a long backlog of various summaries at the moment, I just wanted to write this thank-you here first.

The raw recording was shared internally as an unlisted video on the #visual-tools channel on Zulip and Slack. We encourage everybody to join the Zulip chat, where many internal recordings are shared much earlier. Please let me know if we can help you settle in and find any of the relevant channels.
Some video parts may be made public later on.

Thanks,
Daniel
