Thanks very much for this. The main clojure group is noisy and I can't
always keep up-to-date with it, so it was useful to have it reported
here.

I watch this list specifically for messages like this. I'd rather this list update rarely with only important messages then often with normal messages.

My apologies.  I completely missed making sure the announcement was sent here when we sent it to the other lists.  I'll make sure to include this one if there are any other clojars sec issues in the future.
