Just Calendaring

I need to have a holiday-aware calendar for all sorts of jobs where I am creating a schedule, but not necessarily scheduling a job.  Is there a way to access only those bits of quartzite without trying to establish jobs?   I see that there is org.quartz.impl.calendar as part of the Quartz-scheduler API, but I don't see it exposed in Quartzite.  I is there an easier way to go about this?
