API statistics tracking

Hi,

I'm quite new to liberator but I was totally attracted by its webmachine-like decision graph. I'm planning to use it to write some API. But one thing I need to do is the latency tracking for the APIs. Are there hooks to do so (seems there's no good place to do so in decision graph) in liberator? Or should I write ring middleware to do so?
