CUDA backend creation failed, reverting to CPU

I followed the instructions to install and enable CUDA (macOS 10.12.4 and NVIDIA/CUDA-9.0) but I'm getting "A backend creation failed, reverting to CPU" in the training log file.

How can I go about debugging it? Thank you.

I do have the same problem. Followed gigasquid's tutorial on Cats vs Dogs. Failed to create GPU context.

getting error aswell. Is it possible to use only CPU and avoid the CUDA library?
