Skummet compilation fails with "Unable to resolve var: clojure.core/*lean-var?* in this context"

I tried creating a blank project, setting

:target-version"22"

and compiling with

lein with-profile lean do clean, droid doall

and discovered it would only compile with

:proguard-execute false
