Hi All,

I was having problems when using the tamer-gui with the latest batch of
GPS-enabled clocktamers.

It always fails with a 'SYNTAX ERROR' on the VER and/or HWI command.

When I change the source so it will retry the command when it fails with
syntax error, it always passes with the first retry.

So I made a patch which wil retry each command that fails with 'SYNTAX
ERROR'. The maximum number of retries is set to 1.

Note that I do not know what the real cause of the problem is. This is
just a workaround that works well.
