Chicago Concert Sponsorship

Hey Heather & Mel,

So I am moving forward with non-profit sponsorship of a Concert in Chicago.

Legally it is a Fundraising Benefit Concert for us, and we will be benefiting both the CLN as a whole, as well as the Hemp Education Project, as this was Patricks project.

We have already been guaranteed at least $250, with the possibility of thousands more.

This will be much like the WCTC center in Santa Cruz, in that we will be sponsoring the space, and the space is the concert in Chicago.

This will require us to have insurance, or more like being named within the event insurance.

That is pretty much it though, its pretty simple, and really there isn't any proposal to vote on because there is nothing new that we are doing, it is simply fundraising and sponsoring an event for already existing projects.

But since it does involve legal sponsorship and liability, it is a legal issue and the Board must be informed, and of course you have the ability to voice your opinion or concern or make any proposal as needed from this point on.

I'll keep you in the loop as this progresses fast, the concert is the first week of July, in Chicago. (Anyone Want to go?)
