Anyone still Interested in Clojure?

It's been 2 years since there was any activity here, are there any other developers out there looking to meetup and talk/work on clojure from time to time?

I’m very much interested, but finding it difficult to use in practice.  Still working through books like the joy of clojure, programming clojure, and web development with clojure.

My friend works for Cognitect.  He finds it practical.  :-)

Pedestal for web dev, Om for UI, and a myriad of data science libraries.

Personally, I'm mainly into Node.js.  I did try ClojureScript a year back or so... it is possible to run directly from Node now and not use the Java toolchain, which is pretty nice.

Julia is really nice too... s-expressions under the hood, just some fancy syntax tricks to smooth it out.

I use Clojure 100% in personal and almost exclusively in work projects. Would love to catch up with a local community.
