Hi all,
The SOIC8 Tab is all that we currently have for hacking. But I found that it can easily be extended with non-SOIC8 parts.
What I did here was:
- take two SOIC8 Tabs
- line up the pins from the radio module holes over the tab
- drill new holes in the pcb to match the radio modules
- use hot-melt glue and stick the radio module to the pcb. This
also adds some extra filler that keeps the two pcbs apart.
- wire the pins appropriately on the underside.
Regards
David
