Hi Friends
I see a crash on windows 64 bit machine while reading binary file, is
there any known issue for this? Here is stack trace for that.

Just to clarify the situation here... we are using the same set of
CLIPS source code for all of these scenarios.

If we do a Load( <ascii rules file> ) there is no issue on any
platform (windows or many unix platforms that we use).

if we do a Bload( <platform dependent binary rules file> ) on a
Windows 32 bit platform running a 32 bit OS (Windows XP Service Pack
3) there is no issue.
- we created the platform dependent binary rules file using
Load( <ascii rules file> ) and Bsave( <platform dependent binary rules
file> ) using that same platform and OS.

If we do a Bload( <platform dependent binary rules file> ) on a
Windows 64 bit platform running a 64 bit Windows 2003 Server OS or a
Windows 64 bit platform running a Windows 7 OS, we see the crash that
is being reported below.
- we created the platform dependent binary rules file using
Load( <ascii rules file> ) and Bsave( <platform dependent binary rules
file> ) on a 64 bit windows platform running a 64 bit Windows 2003
Server OS (only).

So is there any known issue with the 64 bit platform running 64 bit
Windows 2003 Server or Windows 7 OS related to a clips binary rules
file as described in the previous paragraph? Or is that not really
supported?

Which version of CLIPS are you running? Where did you get the DLL?

Thanks for response. We are running CLIPS version 6.24 and we built
the CLIPS dll using our application built system, I will get more
details from developer who created library in case this detail is not
sufficient. Do you have any suggestion to version or specific build
command?

Trying downloading the 6.3 source at http://clipsrules.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/clipsrules/
and see if that resolves the issue.
