Is Israel deliberately displacing Gazans?

Here is an article by Peter Beinart reviewing the evidence that Israel has been making Gaza uninhabitable as a matter of policy:  https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/07/opinion/israel-gaza-war.html Once driven out of Gaza, the population will find it difficult or impossible to return.  It is hard to avoid the conclusion that Israel is driving out the population by design and intends to appropriate the land.  The United States is complicit in this criminal enterprise because it supplies massive military aid and diplomatic support with essentially no strings attached.
