Clio's Psyche

Welcome.  This forum stimulates dialogue on psychohistory in all its dimensions including the psychology of relationships, groups, history, war, art making, healing, politics, and political leaders. Unconscious motivation, as a catalyst for collective behavior, is a primary focus.  Our participants include international psychoanalysts, sociologists, artists and historians and we invite an interdisciplinary approach to thinking about group motivations, shared trauma, memory and resilience.  Our aim is to facilitate the growth and relevance of psychodynamic thinking in the Internet age.

We are sponsored by the Psychohistory Forum, founded in 1983 and publisher of "Clio's Psyche: Understanding the 'Why' of Culture, Current Events, History, and Society."  For information about the journal or archived issues, please visit http://cliospsyche.org
