"Creator" not available through Notes?

We are currently using the v2 API and I noticed when we accessed the notes resource, there doesn't seem to be and indicator to who created the note. The business user asking for this information is able to produce a csv extract that contains both "Creator" and "Updator".

Looking at the v4 API, it seems to be missing as well? Is there a way to get this information?
