This board is a wealth of information concerning the brilliance of Scenesse.
Not so much on the share price movement, which is why, I presume, the vast majority are here.
So how can one explain the 200,000 shares that have traded within 2 cents of $6.80 since October 2nd, not coincidently the start of a new quarter? Could it be the free market at play, with buyers and sellers facing off night after night?
No chance.

My theory is the large funds (Fidelity, Lagoda, etc) are sprinkling shares to their industry buddies as we approach liftoff. These details of these transfers are worked out so bids/offers line up at specific times. 20,000 shares here, 10000 shares there...it's a big club, and we ain't in it. But those that are will benefit from the 8 years of risk Fidelity has taken on. The favor will be, or has been repaid in other investments.

Look for the January reports of several other funds listing Clinuvel as a miraculous discovery..just in time.

I'm not too familiar with AON orders however I would have expected them to be used for substantial sized orders, not the ~200 share lots that have been increasingly common over the last couple of weeks.

It seems to me that this kind of trading is algorithm based. I don't know much about bots but it appears that one broker is feeding small parcels into the market at 6.80 and another broker is vacuuming them up at 6.80.

I don't understand why this happening, if CUV was trading a couple of dollars higher I'd hazard a guess that the increased volume was being encouraged to hasten inclusion in the ASX300 index. I suppose this is still technically possible however it would imply a massive spike in share price in the near term if the market cap and volume traded is to qualify CUV in the March 2018 index rebalance.

It's remarkable how common this type of activity has become without any explanation.

Rule out retail. The volume in the States, which is often ZERO, suggests retail has little or no interest in buying or selling lately at these prices.

So who receives these shares...from whom...and why? Or are they fake? Or are they bantered about to create a storyline of weakness...or strength?

The least transparent industry on earth continues to mystify.

I'm sticking with my theory of share transfer from insider(s) to new insider(s).

Thanks for all the contributions. I find the action since end of 3rd quarter stunning.
The illusion that retail action affects share price movement has been exposed.
This is a game of insiders steering the price wherever they want, whenever they want...including halting it altogether. Shares are being exchanged from a large player, to a large player without our involvement. That is indisputable. The message board plants sell it as no buyers, or a large relentless seller. Not true.

Question remains who and why?
I believe the large players who have endured years of risk are spreading their golden tickets to insider buddies before lift-off. Player A informs player B of their tireless research, support and knowledge of Clinuvel. Player B says "Cool", what can you get me? 20,000 at $6.80, go thru centerpoint on Tuesday."
Just like life. Scratchin' backs. Player B will return the favor soon enough.

Computer artificial intelligence is dancing the trades in big stocks more than human trades in milliseconds, so I can’t see why “they” would not use such programming to emulate patterns that work against humans thinking as to trading. It’s very very soon that computers will create fake news stories for disseminating on web to also manipulate the humans.

Humans have been doing it all along. To make a dramatic example, was the Tylenol stock investor in the 1980s whom put poison in altered Tylenol and snuck back on shelves for random consumer deaths.

Now take it a step further as to compete humans must have their own computerized trading or be wiped out of $ as computers don’t get tired or emotional and can persist until something works.

By far today the vast majority of trades are inhuman. In a few years there will be programs that will even log into a sharescene and know everything about everyone and create dialogues to squeeze the last biobrain of its money. Even now google and Facebook are collecting all about a human, but it will be a million times more where even now license plate readers and facial recognition will be watching what your eyes glance at while walking thru Walmart.

Eventually I think human consciousness must adapt to become a or part of a computer or I think humans will be like ants and just in the way. But very soon most humans will drop out of reality and be enticed to virtual reality which will be a million more times enticing then heroine, food or sex.

So we will not need stocks or drugs or money or other humans.




Or some smart people think you are already in your own digital reality now!

I was thinking, how long if not already before ones own broker or ? The market maker receives ones buy or sell order and automatically and in microseconds ahead of your order jumps in to snags the order for portion.

There already are very long time lapses going on and true and timely reporting of trades and inputting onto level 2 with Clinuvel favors the market makers

Uhoh my brother, it already happens. These companies have but one goal, profits. They will use any and all info and technology and ability to squeeze every dollar. Your investments and trades are easy money whether by front running or targeted advertising.

Curious...you seem well versed in the ways of Wall Street. Even the biggest advocates would admit shady activities abound. Do you have an example of how the elite take advantage of smaller players?
Also, you should consider a limit order to prevent suffering from a runaway market.
