It's about future plans for Fort Greene Park. If you use the park at all with your dog, you should attend!

As of right now, no. The meeting was a "community listening session" to get potential ideas for FGP: Things you'd like to see but which there is no money for at present.

There is a $2.4 million
dollar grant that's already been appropriated for infrastructure work around the Willoughby Ave entrance — which is much needed as that floods every time it rains.

As for the future, the dog community just needs to be aware of any plans for the park as we are its most consistent users.

(My personal opinion is that Parks will do whatever they were planning to do and this was just something to show they asked for and considered the community's input.)

Thanks for the insightful (and humorous) commentary, Amy!
