Greetings from NHSRC!
National Health System Resource Centre (NHSRC) and HTIC, in collaboration with World Health Organisation (WHO) Country Office for India have the pleasure of inviting you as a participant to the 4th International Fellowship on Health Technology Assessment (HTA) from 28th July to 2nd August, 2014. We would like to invite participation from faculty and students of your organization for this fellowship program.
HTA is a multi-disciplinary field of policy analysis that examines the clinical, economic, social and ethical implications, economic incremental value, diffusion and use of a medical technology in health care and health systems integration. HTA acts as a bridge between the world of research and the decision-making process. It is a tool to improve healthcare delivery system of India. It helps us to know how a technology can be beneficial for the society and how it can be implemented in the government system. HTA will also help to improve the patient care in terms of related legal and ethical issues. This program will prove beneficial to everyone related to healthcare, from an engineer to a hospital administrator. An active field internationally, HTA has seen continued growth, fostered by the need to support management, clinical, and policy decisions.
