I’m currently considering used diesel engines as a cost-effective option for my truck, but I want to make sure I’m making a smart purchase. Some sellers offer rebuilt engines, while others list them “as is,” which makes it a bit confusing. Has anyone here bought a used diesel engine recently, and what checks should I do before finalizing the deal?
