ReShade is a generic post-processing injector for games and video software developed by crosire. Imagine your favorite game with ambient occlusion, real depth of field effects, color correction and more ... ReShade exposes an automated and generic way to access both frame color and depth information (latter is automatically disabled during multiplayer to prevent exploitation) and all the tools to make it happen.
The possibilities are endless! Add advanced depth-edge-detection-driven SMAA antialiasing, screen space ambient occlusion, depth of field effects, chromatic aberration, dynamic film grain, automatic saturation and color correction, cross processing, multi-pass blurring ... you name it.
ReShade features its very own shading language and compiler, called ReShade FX. The syntax is based on HLSL, adding useful features designed for developing post-processing effects: Define and use textures right from the shader code, render to them, change renderstates, retrieve color and depth data, request custom values like timers or key states, ...
And that's not it. Write your shaders just once, they'll work everywhere, regardless of your target being Direct3D, OpenGL or Vulkan: ReShade takes care of compiling them to the right shader model and language (HLSL, GLSL or SPIR-V).
ReShade 5.0 introduced a powerful add-on API that makes it possible to write add-ons for both ReShade and the games it is used with (this is only enabled in the ReShade build with full add-on support, which is unsigned). For more information check out the documentation.
As of January 1st 2017, ReShade is open sourced under the terms and conditions of the BSD 3-clause license! You can help development with your own contributions via the official GitHub repository.
Use preset files (*.ini) that can be created from ReShade's in-game user interface to share your configurations.
Do NOT share the binaries or shader files. Link users to this website instead.
For anyone not using any kind of visual mod for their FiveM client I just packaged mine into an easy unzip and drop format. If you're not sure what it is, Visual V is just a ReShade mod that overlays your GTAV application while it's running to sharpen and enhance the color of the game with a small decrease in fps. If you have a mid to high level computer then this shouldn't negatively effect performance much at all. Personally I can't play without it anymore, makes the game look 10x better. Any questions feel free to ask. If anyone is curious no it is not considered illegal or bannable by any means.
*IMPORTANT - AFTER INSTALLATION BE SURE TO HIT CTRL+SHIFT+SCROLL LOCK IN GAME TO BRING UP THE RESHADE MENU AND LOAD 'VISUALV.INI' FROM THE DROP DOWN MENU TO LOAD THE PRESET!*
It shouldn't to ask you replace any files unless you already had some sort of reshade installed in fivem otherwise they should drag and drop into their respect folders (FiveM and FiveM Application). If you're having any trouble feel free to DM me on discord or reply here m8.
Other users have reported the same issue and had to wait for a Badlands server restart in order for it to take effect. Let me know if you're still having the same problem. Also when you dragged and dropped those files you took them out of their respective folders and dropped them in the correct place right?
Grand Theft Auto V graphics mod
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle []).push();Vanilla game looks good and have many features included, but for perfectionists there are always something not good yet, so i hope to cover their needs.
Versions of the mod for GTASA and GTA4 were very popular, but GTA5 not at all because people are satisfied with visuals. So for me this version is not primary and add features only when want myself. Technically, there are many things done already, just they gives more attention to details, so not impressive for the most players. I rarely play games which modify, but when was satisfied enough with result of modding, played GTA5 till the end.
Modification do not have graphic preset, by default it's ugly unconfigured (unless specified in description of version), so you need to download such presets made by users, feel free to visit my forum. Also you can edit parameters to your own taste inside integrated editor (show it by pressing SHIFT and ENTER keys together, by default). You may change shaders as well, check .fx files of the mod in game root folder and in the enbseries folder.
Effects are made (not complete list):
Water tesselation and displacement; foam of the ocean water dynamically changed by vehicle's collision; dynamic wetness of the ocean beach dependent from water; ambient occlusion for big ranges called skylighting; screen space ambient occlusion and indirect lighting with self intersections, which is form of ssgi; improved reflections for rain puddles and wetness in general in the rain; custom post processing shaders as in other mods of mine; subsurface scattering for characters; detailed shadows for tiny objects; normal mapping shadows as my own invention to make normal maps generate self shadowing; many parameters to tweak sky properties, lighting, colors, particles, etc.
