hi,
i'm having this problem while setting up Netscape proxy server 3.5.
i'm using URL mapping to redirect URL mapping from one URL to another
and this works fine but when i try to prompt the user to enter a user
name and password , it prompt the user alright BUT it does not
recognize the information entered.

Any ideas ?

hi,
For the last few days i've been trying to setup a proxy to behave like
a reverse proxy and configure it to handle multiple mappings also to
authenticate the users when trying to access the proxy.

I tried microsoft proxy 2.0 but did not get it to work. On the other
hand Netscape proxy 3.5 worked as a reverse proxy but only with one
mapping and i could not get it to authenticate the clients.

anybody has any ideas about how to solve this problem.
any help will be appreciated.
