DELQA, DEQNA questions

I notice that some DELQAs (M7516) use an AMD LANCE chip, AMD p/n AM7990DC/70,
DEC p/n 21-21672-07, while others (M7516-YM) use a Toshiba gate array, Toshiba
p/n TC23SC241AP-002, DEC p/n 21-21672-10. The former use 322E5 and 323E5
firmware, while the latter use 366E5 and 365E5 (notice the reversed order
of part numbers).

Is 365E5/366E5 the most recent DELQA firmware? Will it operate on
cards with LANCE chips? Are there known errata for any of the firmware
revisions?
My DEQNA board (M7504) has a lot of green wires (rework), and a PAL soldered
on top of another part (probably also a PAL). Is this normal? I can't find
the etch number on the component side, but the circuit side is 5016028-01 D2.
