yes, I am trying to get PuTTY to work on my windows98.
I am having trouble with configuring it though. I
got most of it, but I am not sure what I am suppose to
enter on the section that says telenet. It ask for a
host name. I beleive that is the main part it is
wanting me to enter something into, but I'm not sure
what to put for a host name...is this something I
should already know? the other part is stored
sessions? what is this? I'd appreciate help if
someone could help me. thank you .

in the hostname field put the machine you want to ssh or telnet to.
the stored sessions allows you to save the settings for easy access
just fill in the required info and type a session name then click save.
