Cluster Size Question?

Hi everyone.

I will try to explain my situation as clear as possible. I am
currently running FreeBSD 4.0. Not the final version because it ain't
out yet! I have 2 hard drives in my freebsd computer at the moment.
The hard drive that I am having problems with is a Maxtor 6.4 gig HD.
When I create a partition for it and use 1k cluster size I loose about
400 megs of HD space. What I would like to know is, what is a
recommended cluster size that I can use to regain the HD space that I
lose when using a cluster size of 1k? Should I use a bigger cluster
size or is it just better to leave it at 1k? I hope that my question
kinda makes sence! I am still new to freebsd and I am far away from
being a pro.
