Hey all,
I was wondering if anybody had been up the dirty dirty crack to the left of Keep It In The Family at Copper Cliffs (far left)? It has pretty good gear (med cams) and a few possible nut placements. The crux move is the squeeze under the fallen tree trunk.
I did some substantial moss gardening, pruning and choss rock clearing. I'd say once it's a bit cleaner it would be a great easy climb for folks learning how to place trad gear (5.8ish?).
The lack of clean trad anchor at the top is a challenge. I ended up anchoring to the far trees further back on the top and re-directing the belay for my second (Ian McMahon).
So... anybody been up this thing before?

Hello,

Copper Cliff is the site we developed for Equinox Adventure Camp.  I think its a new route, so send deets to ryan agar.  I can add top anchors on Wed June 12 afternoon when we do staff training.  Please send a pik if you have one.

Thanks, Chris. Message and picture sent (you were cc'd). I'm revising the grade down to a 5.7 now that most of the teetery freeze-thaw rocks are cleaned. How can I help with the anchor project? Might want to bring a scrub-brush.

Chris,

I will bring drill, anchors, implements of destruction and a chainsaw to our staff training on June 12 1-5pm.  You can 'have at it'.  Otherwise I am booked up for the foreseeable future.

Cheers,

CG
