Seeking for suitable photographs for the synthesis report

Dear colleagues,

First of all, we would like to thank you all for your active participation and cooperation during last three weeks or so to discuss on "Climate Change and the Himalayan Glaciers". Now we are very near to the end of the e-conference (for this season). As you are already aware that we are planning to release an e-conference synthesis on the occasion of World Environment Day (5 June 2007) in the main event that is being organised by the Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology/Government of Nepal. The proposed synthesis report will contain four color pages with some graphics (4-6 photographs) and that will be distributed among the participants (mainly the policy makers) after an announcement during the event. We are also planning to send the synthesis report across the following mailing lists.

IGBP, IHDP, GTOS, GLORIA, GMBA, MRI, MRD, MF, ICIMOD, WB-DG, APN, WOCAN, WEDO, UIAA, EV-K2-CNR and WOCAT etc. distribution lists.

In this context we would like to request you to contribute us by sending beautiful photographs focusing the e-conference theme and suitable for color print (high resolution preferred, minimum of 300 dpi) latest by 1 June 2007.

NO payment is available for those photographs, however it will be acknowledged on the flier.
