Dear Colleagues,

I should like to make a final response to Mssrs Philip and Sah following their latest posting to this econference.  Mssrs Philip and Sah appear to be determined to keep my criticisms of the glacial hazard assessments of the ICIMOD inventory publications out of all proportion and this has obviously blinkered their reading of my contributions to this econference.  If they feel my contributions have been just to criticise ICIMOD then they have failed to read the postings clearly as I have gone out of my way to try to make suggestions for the future, provide indications to information that might be of interest to people and help broaden the discussion to include related topics such as the wider benefits of remote sensing analysis to rural development, power generation, biodiversity, etc.

I admit that I do not know of the work of Mssrs Philip and Sah and my previous request for information about their publications was serious - please can you provide a hyperlink to your publication list or post a reference list so that your work can be highlighted more broadly?  That would be a welcome positive contribution.  Thank you.

Yours sincerely
