The general election and the elephant in the room

Thinking about the elections. There might be scope for some to set up climate hustings over the General Election. We should certainly be raising the issue at other peoples hustings and doing leaflets. Here is some thinking from the last election .

I don't know about you but I have been to a load of hustings now and the climate question has never been asked, and it wasn’t raised as a question last night even though we were promised it would be.

 

I prepared, in great haste,  the attached handout for the hustings last night. It has a drawing on the front and ten questions lifted directly from those prepared by the Sheffield Climate Alliance on the back.

 

Although there are ten in practice I think one simple question about combating climate change will suffice.

 

You may wish to adapt and use.

 

It can also be used with canvassers  who knock on the Door
