Good afternoon all,

I'm pretty sure you will know about the Global Climate Strike on Friday 20 Sept, but here is your reminder anyway.  This is going to be huge in Hobart and huge globally. Thousands of school kids will be on Parliament Lawns at 12 noon Friday 20 September and they need us so-called grown-ups to turn out too to send a loud message to government that we demand action on climate disruption. See you there!! And bring your workmates, friends and neighbours.

Climate Tasmania has been working in the background lobbying every state politician to make sure that Tasmania's climate legislation is up to the job of responding to the climate emergency, reducing our emissions and leading Australia (maybe the world).  Now they are presenting a public forum in the IMAS lecture theatre, Castray Esplanade, 5.30 - 7 pm. Please come.
