Dear Sir/Madam,
A Water and Enviro-Modeling Group which was earlier Association of Water and Enviro-Modeling, is a group which tries to help different people involved in the research and development of water and environment modeling to collaborate among like-minded peers.Along with networking opportunities, the group also provides necessary platforms to decimate research works,promote awareness campaigns and availability of expensive resources like books,software etc.
The group has already published 15 journals,produced an online library and pools of full version softwares which any member or members of the group can use for their benefit.Many new journals will be published in the coming years.The group has also tied up with DeepDyve for proper distribution of the approved research papers.
All the journals of the group follows a two stage review process where in the first stage internal reviewers review the submitted papers and according to their decision the article is either published or rejected.In the next stage the approved paper is published online and readers are encouraged to post reviews so that another level of peer review can be executed which ensures that only quality articles are displayed.
In the future ,the group is planning to launch its own labs where members can come and complete their research works/experiments.
Presently,the group is controlled by a non-profit organization named as 'Institute of Water and Enviro-Modeling' situated at Kolkata,West Bengal in India.
Benefits of a AWEM group membership is as follows:
