Call for chapters

We are writing to solicit chapters for The Routledge Handbook of Disaster Mitigation & Preparedness. This co-edited volume of 45-50 chapters seeks to cover all important elements of the two stages of the disaster management cycle. Note that this text is a companion volume to The Routledge Handbook of Disaster Response & Recovery (which we also co-edited, coming out in 2025).

Chapters will be 5,000-7,000 words including abstract, text, figures/tables, and references. The submission deadline is 28 February 2025.
