Our webinar marks the start of a participatory process to assess how culture, creative industries, and cultural heritage are already contributing to climate action, and how their role can be strengthened within UNFCCC processes. The webinar is open to cultural practitioners, Indigenous knowledge holders, artists, researchers, policymakers, funders, youth leaders, and organizations interested in contributing evidence, perspectives, and language to the first draft of the Stocktake. There will be space for Q&A and discussion, and opportunities to help shape the process by hosting consultations and co-creating a shared policy document that elevates culture as a driver of climate action.

🙌 Hosted by the Entertainment + Culture Pavilion, this 1-hour session will:

• ⁠introduce the purpose, scope, and timeline of the first-ever Culture Global Stocktake 📝
• explain how partners and contributors can lead and self-organise their own consultations 💬
• outline upcoming regional and thematic consultations leading to the 🇺🇳 🇲🇦 UNFCCC Marrakech Partnership Accelerator (March 2026), supported by the Youth Climate Justice Fund (YCJF), 🇩🇪 SB64 in Bonn, and 🇹🇷 COP31 in Antalya, Turkey
