Dear resilience researchers,

The Department of International Political Sciences (DISPI) at the University of Genoa, CIMA Research Foundation, and the Observatory on Religious and Migratory Phenomena of DISPI are organizing the international conference "Resilient Territories: New Complexities and Emergent Challenges" on April 18 -19 and 20, 2024. 
  • 2023 - November 30: deadline for the submission of abstracts, following the following form, max 3000 characters.
  • 2023 - December 15: response by the Scientific Committee.
  • 2024 - March 15: deadline for the submission of papers.

The event is structured as follows:

- April 18 and 19: Three working sessions will be held addressing the following topics:
  • Territorialization and community resilience in the frame of climate-related socio-political phenomena: migration and conflict.
  • Heritage, tourism, and resilience in peripheral areas: between risks and opportunities.
  • New technologies, perspectives, and methodologies for the resilience of territories.
- April 20: An excursion is planned to explore specific situations of particular interest related to the themes discussed during the conference.
