We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Research Assistant - Climate Resilience and Adaptation in Aquaculture to join the EcoHydroInformatics Research group at the University of Galway, Ireland. This position is funded by EU Interreg Atlantic Area and is available immediately. The currently available funding will support a 9-month Research Assistant position.
Project Description:
The aim of the project is to strengthen the resilience of Atlantic aquaculture to climate change. The project will evaluate the vulnerability of aquaculture species and environments to changes in temperature, salinity and water quality, ensuring the sustainability of the sector. The project will promote climate adaptation and risk prevention through a development of scalable solutions that boost the environmental and economic sustainability of the aquaculture sector.
