The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is seeking applications/nominations for Media Fellows for a workshop aimed at strengthening stakeholder engagement and capacities needed to report on energy efficiency for meeting India’s national climate and developmental goals.
While renewable energy takes up a chunk of the public narrative space on climate action and clean energy transitions, there exists an imperative need to create a similar understanding on energy efficiency. A key agent in realising this goal is the media. TERI aims to strengthen stakeholder engagement and capacities needed on energy efficiency for meeting India’s national climate and developmental goals.
The fellowship will entail participation of Fellows in a workshop on 'Shaping the Discourse: Effective Energy Efficiency Storytelling' on July 5, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi. It will provide the journalists with an opportunity to interact with some of the best subject experts and develop their own perspectives. The Fellows will be given an opportunity to publish in TERI Publications such as TerraGreen and Energy Futures.
