We are inviting applications for a 36-month Postdoctoral Fellow position at the Nansen Environmental and Remote Sensing Center (NERSC) in Bergen, Norway.

The successful candidate will advance the development of coupled climate reanalyses using a hybrid AI-physics version of the Norwegian Climate Prediction Model (NorCPM). The work combines dynamical model components (the Norwegian Earth System Model and Ensemble Kalman Filter data assimilation) with state-of-the-art machine-learning forecasting systems such as GraphCast and GLONET.
