OurEuropean Geosciences Union (EGU)session “Advancing Earth System Models Using Machine Learning” will be back at EGU26 in May after two successful years. Convened byJack Atkinson, Laura Mansfield,Milan Klöwer, and Alex Connolly.
We’re interested in topics that use ML/AI to help model any part of the Earth system (e.g., ML parameterisations, model emulation, automatic tuning/calibration, uncertainty quantification, postprocessing, differentiable models, etc.) https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU26/session/57626 Abstract submission are open until 15th January 2026. We are a friendly session, welcoming talks and posters from a variety of career types and stages. We particularly encourage early career submissions. We look forward to receiving your abstracts and seeing you in Vienna!
