Back in June I sent the below email asking folks to help spread the word of our vacancy for a Youth Pastor...
...four months on and we are still looking to fill this vacancy hence this second email (feedback to my last email identified the timing wasn't great as a lot of students had already left college etc for the Summer holidays and would not be returning until
September).
I have attached a colourful poster and would be most grateful if you could display this on student noticeboards or alternatively circulate to anybody that you think might be interested in this full-time vacancy within the Scottish Borders.

I'm contacting you on behalf of the Search Committee at Selkirk Baptist Church in the Scottish Borders.
We are currently on the look-out for a Children's & Youth Pastor and would be delighted if you would help us to spread the word!
The attached PDF features an article which sums up our situation, and if you are able to put this up on your notice board; include into newsletters or even personally forward onto someone who you feel may be just right for the job!
Please be assured that we are not looking to steal good people away from their existing churches, but instead to tap into the rich resource of our brothers and sisters in Christ to help spread the word and find the person that God wants to place here in Selkirk to further his work amongst the Children and Youths in our community.
