@EA_Barryok the game finally worked but now its just a black screen for hours
update time after searching for fixes on internet and trying out various things
The game works.
for people still facing this problem
1.reboot your computer
2. start steam and origin with the "Run as administrator" option now the origin app should recognize the installed game.
3. the first crash you'll encounter after running the game after the above steps is the infinite black screen for this you force quit the game with alt+F4 or opening task manager and ending the burnout paradise remastered task then you click on browse local files in steam find the burnout.exe file right click on it then properties>compatibility>set it to windows xp (service pack 3) option and also click run as administrator then apply the settings.
4.the second crash is when you load up the game after the game intro when selecting your first car it crashes again but fear not force quit the game again and then right click on desktop then find NVidia control panel > manage 3d settings > program settings > click on add button select the burnout paradise remastered exe file then click add after that apply setting and close it it should be fixed by now
5.i will also recommend uninstalling your webcam because during the learners license sequence you are asked to use webcam for the photo and close all overlays from origin and steam.
