Reject on efile regarding dependent

Wow, child files return taking no exemption, (copy in hand), IRS tags him as taking an exemption on his return and now they are telling me I have to file an amended return to correct it, ITS THEIR MISTAKE!!
Has anyone else had this issue, seems unfair that the parents are going to pay to have a return amended that the IRS processed WRONG!!
