Texas spammer sued by state and Microsoft

Jan 15, 2005 (AXcess News) Houston - The Attorney General of Texas and
Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) have each filed separate law suits against a
University of Texas student and his partner who allegedly operated the
world's fourth largest email spam business.

Texas attorney general Greg Abbott was successful in nailing two of the
world's biggest spammers this week in what could be considered one of
the biggest hauls in online fraud by authorities since the government
passed the Can-Spam Act.
