I have a data set consisting of US Address. I want to do Spatial Analytics using TomTom Maps. I am not use how to bring in Tomtom Maps inside Alteryx and use for my analysis. I have signedup for developer license in TomTom Website. Please help me to solve this issue

If you have a Geospatial-level license for Alteryx, then you will have already installed the geospatial data set which includes the TomTom maps and drivetime data. To set TomTom maps as your default, in Alteryx go to Options> User settings then in the pop up window, click on the 'Dataset defaults' tab. From here you'll be able to select TomTom for Drivetime, Geocoder and Reference Base Map options.

I could not find TomTom map under the user settings you had earlier indicated in the thread which leads me to believe that I do not have the TomTom maps installed for Alteryx, so do I need to buy these from TomTom website to be able to use them in Alteryx? If so, is there a specific version that works with Alteryx?

Azure Maps delivers secured location APIs to provide geospatial context to data. The Azure Maps service enhances the value of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform that is helping enterprises and developers create IoT, mobility, logistics and asset tracking solutions. TomTom providing their map data and services is a significant component for completing these enterprise customer scenarios.

Azure Maps lights up a multitude of location scenarios for Microsoft. Azure customers now have native support ranging from building map-based dashboards to visualize IoT spatial analytics to mobility scenarios for vehicle movement. For example, in agriculture, customers can easily track utilization of farm sensors for crops, livestock, tractors and more to optimize production. Using the Azure Maps routing services powered by TomTom allows for insightful distribution of goods originating from farmlands to retail, restaurants and home delivery. Using the freshest maps and traffic information can determine delivery range, optimize delivery routes and provide customer insights into delivery status.

To achieve our vision of a safer world, free of congestion and emissions, we create innovative technologies that keep the world moving. By combining our extensive experience with leading business and technology partners, we power connected vehicles, smart mobility and, ultimately, autonomous driving.

TomTom will follow guidelines re: attribution and share-back. Note that the company is not yet using OSM, so some of the details of how that will look are still being worked on. The plan is to go live with the new map in early to mid 2023. The TomTom community team (some of you know @MarjanVan @HajarElOuafi David Salmon, Syed Nasrulla, and Salim Baidoun in addition to myself) are happy to be points of contact.

Now that our new strategy is public, we will be blogging regularly about the new TomTom map, our collaborations with OSM chapters (including with Brasil (Brazil) Norge (Norway) Italia (Italy) Tanzania Belgi / Belgique / Belgien (Belgium) and others, too), our sponsorships of OSM groups and chapters, our corporate partners, and etc.

I am actively making the case for TT to invest in improving RoadRunner and MapMetrics. If anyone is interested in giving me feedback or helping define new use cases, please let us know - easiest way is to email O...@tomtom.com

OSM will be a new data source, among many, used by TomTom. We will identify the best content in the OSM map by assessing its data accuracy, completeness, and consistency level, to name a few. Our intention is to create the most complete and robust map. TomTom will use the most accurate data source for each region, country or even feature which could be OSM data in select countries, while in other countries it could be TomTom data including third-party sources.

MapShare Reporter enables you to use a larger monitor or laptop screen for reporting changes and provides plenty of space to add comments to your reports. Our Review Team will check your reports carefully and consider including them in future updates to our maps.

Your reports are important to us and we take time to review each one carefully. Depending on the nature of the change, it can be resolved within a few days or a few weeks. After a change is accepted, it may take some time for this to become available in a map update for your navigation device or to be incorporated into LIVE Traffic and Route Planner services on our website.

Selecting the Traffic Flow type for your report automatically activates the Traffic Incidents layer. This layer (which shows road information such as heavy traffic, ongoing maintenance activity, etc.) is not available for all countries.

To update the information for a speed camera, click its icon on the map.
There are different icons shown depending on if the speed camera is associated with a speed limit, a traffic light, or both:

Once a speed camera is selected, you can update what the camera monitors, in which direction(s), the speed restriction and add comments or a photo. If the camera is no longer present in this location, click Delete to request its removal.

When you open My Reports you see a list of all the reports you have submitted on the portion of the map that's visible in your current view. You can filter the list based on the status of the report, or you can change the date range to show narrow down the list.

When you click a report in this list you see the details of your submission. You can also see the details by clicking the icon for one of your reports on the map and then clicking More info in the popup at the bottom of the screen.

- Fixed
The change reported by you will be included in our next map release. You will see the changes reflected in our online maps or updated maps on your device. Thank you for your help with keeping the maps up-to-date and accurate!

Note that if two or more report icons are too close to each other for your current zoom level, you will instead see the 'Report Stack' icon as pictured below. To see the individual reports, either zoom in manually on the stack, or click the stack icon to automatically zoom in on them.

It's not possible to make changes to a report after it's been submitted. If you want to change or update the information you have sent in, create a separate, new report with the corrected information.

Here you can toggle the visibility of Speed Cameras, Traffic Incidents, POIs and Reports on the map.
Remember that the layers available may differ depending on the region you are viewing, so for certain countries or areas, you might not have the option to show speed cameras or traffic information.

The copyright text cannot be removed, as per the terms of use of the map platform (most, if not all map platforms are required to show the copyrights for the data). The smiley face is a button for providing feedback about the map data. The main purpose is to save companies who use the map control in their app getting queries about map data issues. I know several large global companies where they see this small button has helped nearly remove all the customer support queries they had from end users related to map data issues (several of these companies had requested this feature for years). You can remove this from the map by setting the showFeedbackLink to false. The map logo is optional and can be hidden by setting showLogo to false, however this will result in "Microsoft" being added to the text copyrights for legal purposes.

It sounds like you are using the Power BI visual and not developing with the Azure Maps SDK directly. In that case there is no options to remove these elements from the map. Power BI requires consistency with the visuals. I can send that as feature request to the Power BI Map visual team for future consideration. That said, there is a lot of value in having that feedback button there. In Power BI users are typically looking and analyzing data much closer than they would normally and there is higher potential for them to find geospatial related issues (e.g. some location fields aren't geocoding, or some issue with the map data) and this provides an easy way for them to report this feedback easily to the right people and save a lot of headache for others. The world is a big place that is constantly changing, and we see thousands of data update requests a day. As for the smiley face icon, it is a standard icon used for feedback in a lot of Microsoft business products.

Also resize the quadrant of the copyright area according to the total shape of the visual. My map is a tiny part of the report but the copyright label is compared to that huge. So it takes way too much space. When it is small the rectangle also takes all of the sudden the whole horizontal space.

The background of the copyright text is semi-transparent and hasn't changed in over 5 years. Removing that would obscure the text due to the contrast of the map and would not align with the requirements of the terms of use (copyrights have to be unobscured). Note that Microsoft is required by its data providers to display these copyrights.

Circling back. I heard from the maps team that they are making some adjustments to the copyright and feedback UI of the map control. This will likely make it into the Power BI control in February or March.

My boss has literally asked me to migrate maps back to the old version because of this silly legal requirement. Please find a way to downgrade the font size or something to minimize it. If a map is configured to be a small size the footer covers up to 1/3 of the area.

What old version? Azure Maps has had this for over 5 years (the platform is less than 6 year sold). The Power BI version of Azure Maps has always had this copyright and feedback area since it was released as a preview. Note that is only 20 pixels tall. I believe there is plans to expose the option to hide the logo and feedback button, but copyright text will always appear as it's a legal requirement for both Microsoft and users of the maps. If you are using Power BI and you meant the older maps visual, it's still there and a single click to switch over.
