Wemade some fun (inedible) orbs of our own, using the technique: standard orbs (from gelatin or agar and water), floating orbs (with agar and vinegar) and color-changing acid/base indicator orbs (from red cabbage juice and gelatin or agar.) Adult supervision is required for this project, since it involves hot liquids. The orbs may also be a choking hazard, so keep them away from toddlers. I demonstrated how to make them on Kare11 Sunrise News.
3. Drip gelatin or agar solution into the cold oil, a few drops at a time so it forms into marble-sized orbs and sinks. Drip two colors together to make multi-colored orbs! Allow to cool for 30 seconds or so and retrieve with a slotted spoon or strainer. Rinse with water and repeat, re-chilling the oil as needed until you have as many orbs as you want.
4. Rinse orbs with water. Dry them out by setting them on a plate overnight if you want to see them shrink and then re-hydrate them with water. Orbs can be kept in a plastic bag in the refrigerator. (Keep away from small children, since they may be a choking hazard.)
To make floating orbs, follow directions above, but make with 1 cup white vinegar and 2 Tbs. agar. They will sink and float when added to water with a few tsp. of baking soda mixed in as the vinegar and baking soda react to form carbon dioxide gas.
To make color-changing orbs, dissolve 2 Tbs. agar or 5 packs unflavored gelatin in 1 cup red cabbage juice (magic potion) and follow directions for making orbs. Then drop them in vinegar to watch them turn pink or in water containing baking soda to watch them turn blue!
These magical orbs give you all manner of benefits, including the ability to issue a telepathic call to any dragon within a 40 mile radius. Evil dragons feel compelled to come to the Orb by the most direct route available.
A magical orb found normally in Eberron but quickly making its way throughout the multiverse, the humble orb of shielding actually is an arcane focus. In addition to that, it grants you the ability to use your reaction to reduce incoming elemental damage (depending on the type of orb) by 1d4.
An Air Orb detonates and creates an hour long windstorm that deals 1d4 bludgeoning damage per round to any creature caught out inside of it (so, 600d4 damage) which will also uproot weak trees and destroy light structures.
I prefer spellbook because you can auto attack things from 25m without running towards them like you do with an orb, which is something like 2m range. There are some minor stats differences too. You can always have one of each, a pvp one and a pve one.
Spellbook had been more PVP-focused just due to its range and so to be able to cancel enemy attacks etc, while Orb had been PVE-focused by more boosts. Their both pure attack was nearly useless, cuz their stats had been more important as in MB or Acc etc, in where the Orb succeeded better.
But since we gonna start @ version 1.x with some version 2.x QoL Patches, "Magic Boost" stat returns. So whats better, Orb or Spellbook? And besides that and additionally, should we gonna focus on Acc or MB?
Magic accuracy - one of benefits of the book in this period over the orbs was the better MA which is normally a priority in PVP. I normally had a book for PVP an d the orb for PVE but in the case of doubt a very good book was absolutely fine for both. A decent orb in my opinion would not have been as good if someone was only going to have one weapon for both.
MA is worth more to your character. MB manastones provide twice the amount of stat as MA manastones. Put 2 MB manastones on a spellbook and you have replaced the MB lost from Orb -> Book as opposed to 4 MA manastones to replace the MA lost from Book -> Orb.
SB is usually preferred because as far as I remember m.boost in manastones is a bigger amount than m.acc manastones. So the 40 m.boost/m.acc difference is easier to fill with m.boost manastones on a SB plus if for any reason you needed to attack manually you can do it in ranged mode with a SB.
A yellow m.boost manastone would give +27 m.boost, a same quality m.acc manastone would give +14 m.acc. So to fill the difference SB overall has a far more difficult stat to surpass than the orb. You would need 3x m.acc manastones in the orb to surpass the SB's m.acc. While SB would only need 2x m.boost manastoens to surpass the Orb's m.boost.
What most sorcs fail to mention is that if your going flamespray spec you have a stigma that gives you an on demand 1000 MA and so at 46 I was melting level 50 templars with aether shield on and most jewels and orbs have more MA than tomes if you count the secondary stats because in most cases orbs have MA as a secondary stat that gives you more MA than the tomes or books because most tomes and books dont have MA as a secondary stat.. ORB is way better not only does it give you more MB it also gives you more MA when you count the secondary stats.
You're going to need both stats, and each weapon provides an equal trade-off. However the manastones provide less magical accuracy than magic boost, so it is therefore best to get the spellbook and save on magical acc stones that you can put into extra magic boost.

Now, my brothers and I bring our own kids, making for a chaotic but memorable week with 13 of us under one roof. There are cousins aged five to twenty, card games, counting shooting stars, mudslides, occasional melt-downs, and made-up games on the lawn.
A few years ago, my husband Josh heard an intriguing rumor: glass orbs were mysteriously being hidden along the island's many hiking trails. We'd always enjoyed these trails, but this added a new layer of adventure. Even my son got into the hunt.
In the beginning, we had strategies - "You take the left side of the trail; I'll take the right," or "Use the walking stick to poke the underbrush." But after years of searching in vain, I began to realize something.
It was with this easygoing attitude that a glint of glass caught my eye. Nestled in a tuft of grass, we found our first orb! The size of a tennis ball, simply made and stamped with the map of Block Island.
When we want something badly, we often strategize and optimize, hoping sheer willpower will deliver it. Our energy becomes a little more forceful and a little less creative. Which also takes a lot of the fun out of it.
Now, as summer winds down, my kids head back to school, and routines resume, I'm incorporating that lesson as I clarify my focus for the fall. As I advise my clients, it's about the 'what' AND the 'how.'
Light orbs can be used to fix magical lamps in Dorgesh-Kaan. Level 52 Crafting and Firemaking is needed to fix a lamp, giving 500 Crafting experience and 500 Firemaking experience. When a player has replaced 50 light orbs they will receive the message "You have replaced 50 orbs and have gained extra experience." The bonus received is 2,500 Crafting and Firemaking experience. This can be repeated indefinitely.Broken lamps are found on all three floors. The large street lamps throughout Dorgesh-Kaan never need replacing. Broken lamps can be hard to distinguish from a distance. There are always ten broken lamps, and once one is fixed, a new one will break. Broken lamps are unique to each player and are the same for the player no matter what world the player is on.
In addition to attaching cave goblin wire to empty light orbs via the Crafting skill (requires 87 Crafting, granting 104 experience), complete light orbs are sometimes obtained from Dorgesh-Kaan Average Chests, specifically from the chest on the 2nd floor in Oldak's house. Empty orbs are obtained by looting a chest only slightly more frequently than completed light orbs.
Using stamina potions to replace light orbs will give roughly 90,000 experience per hour in both Crafting and Firemaking. Because of the added cost of stamina potions, instead it may be useful to make fires in the city and take quick glances at nearby lamps in hope of a broken lamp being found.
The bracelet has stainless steel for the chain and the orbs use the most premium steel to encase two different types of precious materials collected with utmost care directly from mother nature in their purest form, Italian black marble and natural wood; Which enables us to offer you two different variants The black silver and the sunshine gold.

The Orb of Lemuria is an orb that is mentioned in the second half of Season 1. It is a serious matter, according to Professor Maxwell. It was revealed that this was what awakened Kyra's magical Tri-ling powers. The orb was destroyed in "End of the Road: Part 2" by Maxwell, shortly after Kyra got her orb magic back.
