to Challenge on Learned Image Compression (CLIC)
Dear friends of CLIC:
As a reminder, submissions to CLIC 2025 – the 7th Challenge on Learned Image Compression – are open, and will remain open until 31 August!
In total, there will be $7000 worth of prizes across four tracks!
New this year: We have a special focus on computational complexity. The image and video compression tracks are both subdivided into a CPU and a GPU track, to account for complexity requirements of different platforms.
Also new: We'll have a preliminary subjective evaluation (for your information – not mandatory). To get an early idea of how your method performs, make sure to submit to the validation track before 1 August.
We had a bit of a slow start this year, since we faced some technical difficulties updating our infrastructure (boo!). But these things are taken care of now.
